ABOUT

Xylophone

We are a not-for-profit organisation operating in Parnell, Auckland since 1995.

Our collection includes over 1,000 toys for children from the age of three months to seven years. Our library offers a range of fabulous toys that will help your children develop their imagination, encourage them to interact with others, engage their senses, and provide opportunity for them to learn through fine and gross motor skills. We are regularly updating our toys and invite you to come along and take a look.

The toy library provides a sustainable way for children to play with a range of new and exciting toys on a regular basis at a reduced cost for parents. Children can lose interest in toys after a while so the toy library provides a perfect solution for this problem through community sharing.

Members enjoy using us because you can try toys before you buy them, reduce unloved toy clutter in your house, and when you bring new toys home it's like Christmas every week! Grandparents also love the flexibility too.

We rely on membership fees, grants and donations from our community supporters, and we are active members of the Toy Library Federation of New Zealand.

If you are interested in joining, please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
